Terms of Service

By creating an account or using structIQ, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

structIQ is a SaaS tool that helps you structure IT projects into well-defined epics and generate effort estimates using AI. The service includes AI-powered epic splitting, content generation, quality review, estimation, and export features.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your account with others or let others access the service through your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use structIQ.

You own all content you create in structIQ, including project descriptions, epic content, estimates, and uploaded documents. We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (including AI-powered features). This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy. For business customers, our processing of personal data on your behalf is also governed by our Data Processing Agreement.

structIQ uses the Anthropic API (Claude) to generate suggestions for epic content, quality reviews, and effort estimates. AI-generated content is provided as recommendations only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before using it in your projects.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. Effort estimates are indicative and should not be treated as commitments.

structIQ offers a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. During the trial, you can create up to 1 project with 6 epics and use up to 30 AI calls. After the trial period (or when a trial limit is reached), your account becomes read-only until you subscribe. Your data is retained for 30 days.

Pro subscription fees ($49/month or $490/year) are billed monthly or annually depending on your selected billing cycle. All fees are in USD and are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.

If you believe you have been billed incorrectly, contact us within 60 days at contact@structiq.co. We will review your claim and issue a correction or credit where appropriate.

You can manage your subscription or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your data remains accessible until the end of the paid period. After that, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may not use structIQ to:

— Violate any applicable law or regulation.

— Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.

— Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.

— Use the service to develop a competing product.

— Abuse, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.

— Share, resell, or sublicense your account access to third parties.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the service at any time.

We may modify features, pricing, or these terms. For material changes, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, structIQ and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless structIQ and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

structIQ, its logo, design, and underlying technology are the property of Kevin Hatt. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.

Your content remains yours. Our content remains ours.

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with reasonable notice where possible. In case of serious violations, we may terminate immediately.

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, government actions, or internet service disruptions.

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Basel-Stadt, Switzerland.

Severability. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and structIQ regarding the service and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and proposals.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it at a later time.
